Stage Left Studio runs ongoing adult improv classes in Petaluma and Santa Rosa, plus stand-up comedy coaching with Cheryl King. Improv and stand-up for adults who want more play, more nerve, and better stories to tell.

Say Yes. See What Happens.
Cheryl draws on Viola Spolin's theatre game tradition and her own experience with Gary Austin and Michael Gellman. The work is spontaneous, collaborative, and built for people who want to trust their own impulses.
You do not need acting experience. Beginners are welcome and can join anytime.

Stand-Up Comedy
Find the Joke. Then Make It Yours.
Learn the basics of stand-up with a touring comic who has worked clubs across the country. Cheryl teaches material creation, crowd work, editing, and how to develop a style that belongs to you.
Stand-up meets most Monday nights, 7:05–9:30 PM at Keller Co-Work Space in Petaluma when scheduled. Private coaching and small custom classes are also available. Veterans may take single classes for $30.
